Sarah Palin will take legal action against anyone suggesting a criminal investigation forced her resignation, the Governor's lawyer said in a statement last night.

Thomas Van Flein singled out blogger Shannyn Moore, who he says has "most notably" perpetuated false information about Palin. Moore blogs for the Huffington Post, and brought up the rumor about a criminal invesgitation during a Friday appearance on MSNBC.

She really does seem to be a political light weight. Clearly being Governor of Alaska doesn't necessarily prepare you for the national stage. If she tries to run for President in 2012 she will be a laughing stock. Dan Qualye would make a better candidate.

I don't see a problem with this considering all the attack pieces that have been put out there by the lefties in regards to Palin. Look at what seven years of liberal media bashing did to Bush. Got people so riled up, they would say some incredibly disrespectful words towards the former President.

As I have pounded on and pounded on in this forum, a perfect example is that Obama can't come up with anything original in regards to anti terror policies, but yet gets a free pass. Obama's policies are the exact same as Bush's, but yet we don't hear any cries for impeachment due to the infringement upon our civil liberties.

The media has a ton of sway with the deciding voters of the election. By deciding, I mean the dumbazzes who don't follow politics and rely on what ABC, CBS and NBC have to say. How many people are going to read a hit piece and know it was just that? Only those that pay attention to politics, which is a small percentage.

Did you miss the part where I prefaced my statement with, "anti terror policies"? In specific, predator drone attacks, rendition, email intercepts, prolonged detention and keeping Gitmo open.

While I will say the MSM entertainment media has been cutthroat against her ever since she was named as the GOP VP candidate, she doesn't seem to take criticism too well. At her level of the government, you have to let things roll off your back. Not her. Oh well, she's gone into the sunset. Nice looking at ya Sarah.

Palin was ripped by the press when McCain announced her and then promptly refused to let her speak to the media (his campaign team did)

then she went in to a routine interview with a lightweight jounro, and proceeded to show the country just how unqualified she was.

I agree with SeaGriz re: the attacks on Obama. While he hasn't gotten the free pass the Bush did post 9/11, the mainstream media has not been very critical of Obama. I also don't have a big problem with the media giving Obama some leeway to push his agenda and time to see if it works. His legacy will be written by the success of today's programs over the next couple of years.

I don't remember much about Clinton or the early years of Bush, as I didn't pay attention to politics until after 9/11, and after 8 years, I am almost fed up with it already. The only fun part is talking crap on this board. Other than that, it feels as if our reps don't really care about the people.
