Ain't politics a bitch?

Post by slycat »

When the Republicans are in control they think they can do no wrong and the Democrats bitch and moan that the world is coming to an end.

Then the Democrats get elected and immediately they think they can do no wrong and the Republicans bitch and moan that the world is coming to an end.

What a fucking annoying cycle. Who the hell can stand to be on either side?

I can't believe that both sides haven't figured out moderation or how to compromise after all these years?

I truly believe that there isn't a thing either side could do that will make the other side happy. Its like the other sides bitches just because they got bitched at for 4 to 8 years.

It's almost a comical paradox...
We need elements of both Liberalism and Conservatism
Yet one by it's very nature is opposed to the other

These paradoxical conundrums are the spice of life my friend - enjoy them or forever be enslaved

Your parents lied to Darwin some twenty odd years ago, then proceeded to lie to it (you) about Santa, the Easter Bunny, and Jesus.

Then McCain lost....

Pitiful yes, but it's time for you to move on.

Once again you guys act like I wanted McCant to win or that I voted for him.

Anytime the GOP runs a POS candidate like McCain, Romney, Pawlenty, Jindal or any other non conservative I want them to lose just like last time.

Get over the trying to label me a republican, it doesnt work

You were hoping for David Duke?
Being wrong about a topic is called post partisanism - kalm

MAQA - putting the Q into qrazy qanon qult qonspiracy theories since 2015.

It will probably be difficult for MAQA yahoos to overcome the Qult programming but they should give being rational & reasonable a try.

Couldnt be any worse than what we have now except hes more qualified.

Someone a little more conservative than Ron Paul would be just fine, you just cant find anyone in the GOP that has any conservative values that are not for sale.

LMAO @ people in this thread.

Your frustration, slycat, is shared by virtually everyone except for Tman, who loves the Hate with a passion.

Who's to blame? To me:

1. Money
2. An irresponsible, sensationalist national media
3. The public for consuming it and asking for more.

We're all fucked.

Good post. When you slip off your uniform and view the game without bias there is sheer briliance in that skull.

Totally agree and have been of that mind for a long time Sly. Neither side is that bad or that good but both sides can pick out the few issues that there are real differences on and paint the other side as the second coming of Hitler. Now your avg. man on the street that used to discuss issues without having a "team" point of view no longer does that. Most people have to argue any topic from a particular point of view given to them by their "team." There isn't a lot of independent thinking going on in the great land anymore.
