Derrick Saunders Faces Numerous Charges In Aurora
AURORA, Colo. -- A Denver police officer assigned to Denver International Airport was on administrative leave Tuesday after employees at an Aurora McDonald's said he pulled a gun on them when his order wasn't filled fast enough.
Obviously, he had to pass a rigorous pychiatric evaluation before issuing his service weapon.....

This case in Wyoming has been in the local news for months, the State Trooper recently pleaded guilty for conspiring to kill a Walmart trucker, stage an accident with the truck, and live happily ever after on a huge settlement from Walmart-
There were two other Troopers that had some knowledge of this guys bizarre plans. I wonder if we truly are attracting "America's finest?"

These people are the children of Reagan and Bush 43. Rules of normal society do not apply to them.

David Weiss, an assistant federal public defender also representing Ryle, said the former trooper has suffered from depression and post-traumatic stress disorder from his experiences as with the highway patrol, home life and service in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The real question is:
When are we going to start helping (caring for) these ex-Marines...
Some of these guys have been through hell and back and need help - there is no shame in that - the sh!t they've seen can never be un-seen - we need to give them what they require so they can recapture a normal healthy life and be the productive citizens they strive to be...
God help us all... seriously

The man is a troubled soul and he needs our prayers. One should never cast stones unless he first hath no sin in his life. I hope this man finds the peace he deserves in life and may God grant him eternal happiness.

I'm with you on that Cleets. The ones coming back from Combat need some way to ease back in with some help from the psychology end. It would be interesting to see how the ones that were not physically injured adjust compared to those that were injured and are receiving care have assimilated back in.

What a fucking, bleeding-heart, tree-hugger. Here, I'll put on some Barney music that will soothe your soul and bring us all together in peace:

GD pig-apologist. These cops are no different than any other inner-city punk waving a gun around in a drug-induced fit...only difference is their's obviously emanates from some internalized inadequacies, undoubtedly including a small-penis complex. Prosecute them, lock them up and throw away the key. There's no excuses for ANY cop to make ANY mistake.

I never met cops this goofy before, and I have known lots of cops over the years.
However, if somebody asked me if there were cops with issues like these somewhere out there, I would reply that there certainly have to be.
I would defy people to name any profession that doesn't have its fair share of losers.

Um.. T-nutball
Where exactly did I post that this cop should not be prosecuted..?
He should obviously be treated like the criminal that he is
What I was pointing out is:
we have a whole bunch of ex-marines - some need help - arming them and putting them in front of the public is probably not the first best job option for a mentally fractured vet...

Good thing we don't hold anybody to that standard or we'd ALL be fvcked.

Low standards, low pay, low expectations, and lower results.
Long as they can pee straight, no need to worry about their state of mind.

I think he's just pushing my buttons... either that or he really has lost it completely
(probably 50/50 either way)

Well, when it involves their service weapon...yes...not everyone has a government-issued service piece with arresting powers, so yes, there should be zero tolerance regarding mistakes with their service weapon....
