What a slanted video. Reminds me of border minute men training.

The video is full of assumptions. This is all two and a half years of investigating got?????

Still zero proof they are "terrorist training facilities".

I still have contacts in the counter terrorism and anti terrorism communities (yes, there is a difference)...

They won't tell me specifics about these type of groups since I'm retired now...

But they assure me of one thing...If these folks are a danger...they are being watched very closely...

So, I'm not very concerned... :coffee:

Wow.

You do realize the militias are formed to protect you from our government right?

These guys want all of us dead. I believe Col when he says the government is watching these guys but have absolute ZERO confidence they are capable of doing anything about it to protect us.

Good ole 2nd amendment in action......or something.

Seriously, I hope and pray someday that I am in a position where a guy that mocks the 2nd amendment is getting robbed and going to be killed. I really hope I can say......."Oh I am going to protect myself and probably kill this guy, but only after he kills your unprotected ass."

Nope, they were nutbags also but a law abiding group like that on top of the military will bolster wiping the bad groups off the face of the planet if it ever did come to that. :thumb:

AG, first I do not accept that the militias were formed to protect us from our government....most were formed to protect their members from perceived wrongs by the government, but most are racially based (there are black militias and white militias)...

I'm glad you agree that they are being watched...but if you really knew what has already happened, you would not have ZERO confidence in the ability of our counter-terrorism folks...

Problem is, fighting these bad guys is like being a hockey goalie...you can make a hundred stops in a match...but all people talk about is the one that got through... :twocents:

On the contrary. I have zero confidence that these militia groups will be able to stand up to the military. They might be effective in a post nuclear war scenario, but they aren't going to fight a pitched battle against our military and live to tell about it.

Janet Reno...errr...Napolitano wants us to believe that anti-gun control, anti-Iraq war, pro civil liberty militia groups are a danger, but not these fundamentalists that use American flags for target practice? Don't get me wrong, Islamic terrorists are low on my list of fears, but still...SMH

What a nice thing to wish upon someone.

You are probably that guy that worked at a convenience store and was caught on tape executing the robber. I'm not saying we should get rid of the 2nd amendment but I think people overreact to it. There should definitely be stricter gun laws though. Fingerprinting when you buy a gun would be a nice start.

I agree with you on the stricter gun laws and fingerprints.

But I don't have any problem with what that convenience store clerk did.

What a wonderful thing to pray for. And y'all have a problem with how some of the Muslims use their religion.....

As for your robbery scenario, my guess is that the robber is far more likely to kill a person that goes for a gun than someone who was unarmed. But I don't really care either way.

homegrown militia gun nut terrorists frighten me more than fundamentalist imported terrorists.

More unlightened thoughts from a certifiable source.

Are you really this stupid or just playing a part on a message board?

He's right, Alfred. These looney fvcks are much more dangerous, due to their proximity to normal Americans.

Oh now it makes so much more sense now that you pointed out that the "looney fu*ks are more dangerous, due to their proximity to normal Americans.

I somehow thought these muslims that hate America and are living in America, running terrorist training camps in America were in proximity to normal Americans. My bad.

I must have forgot the "dont hurt anyones feelings" lib clause that throws out all rational thinking as long as the terrorists "promise" not to hurt us in our own country.

Once again my bad.
