Bad economic combination

July retail sales dip and jobless claim goes up!
After the positive news in the auto industry more things suffer. It just further reinforces the consumer's incapability of contributing to the growth of the economy this time around. People are continuing to focus on increasing their savings and decreasing debt. DUH!!!!
When
70% of your economic activity is based on consumer spending, this is not a good sign at all.
Foreclosures are up 32% from this month last year.

...and paying taxes...let us never forget where 5-6 months worth of paychecks invariably end up....

...and paying taxes...let us never forget where 5-6 months worth of paychecks invariably end up....
...and it'll be 7-8 months with government healthcare.

Yeah, it's the expense of providing it for the OTHER 280 million that I'm worried about.
