"Free Lunch" Junk Mail

This one was too good not to share!
This morning, I got a piece of junk mail from some outfit called B2G Institute inviting me to a workshop on how to bid for government contracts. Here is an excerpt:
"At a time when companies are cutting back because of lack of business, the government is spending more than ever. There's no recession when it comes to government spending. The U.S. government is the world's largest consumer, purchasing more than 1.8 million types of products and services on a regular basis no matter what the state of the economy.
Get your share of this guaranteed business. Winning just one or two government contracts could assure your company of record revenue even during a down economy."
The complimentary tickets to the "workshop" are said to have a "$375 value per person." They must be serving wagyu beef and Dom Perignon. That'll buy a lot of quality toilet seats.
