They have the power grid to run the future of the automobile industry, electric or battery powered cars with very little need for fossil fuels.

Roughly 25% of US oil consumption is non-transportation related. This could be replaced with electricity

I'd like to hear your plan that replaces 25% of our foreign oil consumption with the OUTPUT called electricity. All the solutions I've heard about still don't meet the need. Meanwhile we sit on more coal BTU's than every drop of crude oil on earth ever found.
