So much empathy for a murderer.

I hope Teddy K is driving Michael Jackson around in hell and they go off the road into a river of scotch, fire and brimstone.

Now that is a wish and you just cant "Beat It"

Finally Massachusetts can have some sanity in its political process, that state has been held hostage way too long.

I respect Senator Kennedy's devotion and zeal for his causes much in the same way that General Jackson respected the energy and zeal of Yankee soldiers ascending Marye's Heights at Fredricksburg.

You don't have to agree with someone to hold him in esteem.

I had wondered how Kennedy was rating the military honor detail and burial at Arlington. Just checked his official Senate bio. He rates based on Army service during the Korean War.

I guess my main question is that, as perhaps the most respected Democratic Senator of his generation, how was Ted Kennedy never elected President Pro Tem of the Senate? Did he just not want the position? He wielded lots of influence on both sides of the aisle as it was, but he could have done so much more from that position, IMO.

If there is a Heaven, Ted is certainly in it. He has done more for humanity and the betterment of the human race than 99.99999% of those that ever lived.

Nope. Just know his record. And haven't drunk the hateraid, like you obviously have on anything Kennedy, or have you forgotten your remarks on Eunice Shriver already?
