Books are a common sight in classrooms around the nation, but the Bible is one book that is not. Come this fall, a Texas law says all public schools must offer information relating to the Bible in their curriculum.

An elective class that teaches fundamentals of major religions as a social studies/anthropological subject I am okay with.

A required class that teaches only Christianity(and which speicific version?) I think has no place in a public school.

Well, now there is no excuse for pulling phony bible verses out their asses.

The Supreme Court better be hearing a case on this ASAP.

If the Bible is to be a part of the curriculum then ALL religious books must be included.

Nevada had a Senator Bible once, and he was a Donk. Was he unconstitutional per se?

When I was in high school we had to read parts of it. In my junior AP English class we had to read it because it was "a great piece of literature". Yet we did not read the other books of religion.
