Disgraced former Gov. Eliot Spitzer has been privately talking with friends about a possible comeback, and is considering a run for statewide office next year, several sources told The Post.
Less than 18 months after he left Albany in a prostitution scandal, Spitzer has held informal discussions in recent weeks about the possibility of making a bid for state comptroller or the US Senate seat currently held by Kirsten Gillibrand, sources said.
The hooker-happy Democrat has also discussed his own halfway-decent poll numbers in recent surveys, which have shown him more popular than Gov. Paterson, whose own numbers have tanked.

The guy has learned that you attract a higher class of hooker if you are an office holder rather than a disgraced former office holder. So can you blame him?

Meh, I'm less bothered by someone's hooker habits (although cheating on one's spouse is never good, regardless of whether you're paying or not) than I am by bad policy decisions made by politicians. Just as long as he used his OWN money to rent the hookers and not taxmoney.

Spitzer's a fucking genius: Paul McCartney lost $48.6 million to the one-legged bitch, Heather Mills, in a divorce settlement. They were married for six years. Assuming they had sex an average of twice a week (probably excessive), that's 624 sexual encounters. Divide $48.6 million by 624 encounters and you get $77,884.62 PER sexual encounter---with a bitchy, one-legged, gold-digging 40-year old.
Spitzer, on the other hand, for a measely sum of $4,000 per encounter, got sex WHENEVER HE WANTED with a hot, TWO legged, 5'6" 118 lb TWENTY TWO YEAR OLD!!!!!
I am firmly in Spitzer's camp on this one.

On the one hand if you are gay then your sexuality shouldn't be questioned even if you have multiple partners but on the other hand if you are a heterosexual and you have more than one partner you shouldn't even think about running for an elected office? I hav trouble understanding why we think it's a big issue what someone does in their own sex life. It is a problem between the man and the wife that should be worked out between them. Those who want to can vote for him again if they want to. He's hooker happy, good for him. It is completely acceptable for a gay man to have several partners without this kind of scrutiny though right Travis? In fact they should be held up as heroes in spite of this.

I could care less how many sex partners he had.... I dont think he should have resigned....
If it were a gay man in the same situation I would actually care more and be more pissed off.... because it would only cause damage to the gay rights movement.... The only thing homophobes hate more then a gay man is a gay man who sleeps around with several people....
I actually hope Spitzer runs for Senate.... because I want a choice in the Primary.... and if Obama would keep his fucking nose out of New York politics we might have had one.

Well then I guess I took the "Say it ain't Ho" part of the title in the wrong way then? Cool by me if it's the same standard for all.
