What about this article supports your hypothesis that a public option is needed? In fact most think the public option will make hospitals less profitable, and therefore reduce service levels as the profit motive will be reduced. You should really get a clue before you speak.

Thank you for the correction but do you have to be rude about it?

I'm now only in favor of this "public option" if it makes everybody have coverage whether they can afford it or not (subsidized ), and if like government crop insurance, it is marketed through private insurance companies and their agents.
