Gore Shuts Down Disseneter

Apparently, Gore doesn't like questions that force him to expose himself as a liar.

Gore is not a liar. I'm sure the guy asking the question was paid to do so by Exxon.

Also do not mention that the "hockey stick" graph used by Gore showing temperature changes has been exposed as a farce as well.

More disturbing than Gore's inability to answer the questions was the other journalists' response to his questioning of Gore's data. He's absolutely right in that a journalists job is NOT to be a cheerleader for a cause. In that case they're not journalists, they're PR people and should identify themselves as such.

As he said, treat Big Environment like you treat Big Business----follow the money. :coffee: :coffee: :coffee:

The hockey stick graph was not just a farce, it was a fraud. The data were cherry picked to produce the desired result.

But we've discussed ad nauseum that the pro-global fight has money in multiples of what the dissenters have.

i'm not arguing the environmental groups have a lot of money... but compared to the bulk of the fortune 500 and the right wing anti-climate change groups?

z, this may be the most absurd thing you've ever said... (and that's going some)

Well, I may be wrong, but I seem to remember that this myth of yours was disproven over on AGS some time back. I could be wrong, but I don't think so. If I am, I'm man enough to admit it.

The Government... care to elaborate any more than "The Government"
I mean I realize RUSH is that vague but anything specific would be nice

Keep in mind: I don't give a sh!t one way or the other - not my battle - not a big deal either way

but "The Government" isn't cutting it as an explanation

Don't know why "The Government" isn't cutting it as a reason for you. Almost every department gets "climate change" money....over $32,000,000,000 within the past 10 years, alone. Also, please bear in mind that this money doesn't include "grants" handed out by specific departments themselves.

For you Cleets, I present, "The Government" http://www.climatescience.gov/infosheet ... 8/#funding

Excellent..!!! (Thank you)
That's more like it

I found this below fascinating in your link:
The report is issued by the U.S. Climate Change Science Program (CCSP), which incorporates the U.S. Global Change Research Program (USGCRP) and the President’s Climate Change Research Initiative (CCRI).

Can anyone explain why it takes three distinct agency organizations to accumulate and process global climate change data..? What a bunch of C.R.A.P...!!!

Seriously I'm all for collecting the data and making informed decisions - but thats ridiculous

The money being spent - when you add up both sides - is the single biggest wast of finances imaginable

And, just imagine. That is only what the US government is kicking into this global farce. That doesn't account for the untold Billions spent by the Europeans, Japan, the UN, etc....

Just think of all the people we could have fed, clothed, and provided health care to with all that wasted
money... :shake:

To you and your comrades Baldy, and you only, is it a farce. Like WMD's in Iraq, W and his disastrous 8 years that you fully supported and Sarah Palin - this is yet another Limbaugh-induced blindspot of yours. :shake:

Cleets, think for yourself and don't be a pawn of these knuckleheads (Baldy and Z). Remember, these are the same idiots who backed every one W's disastrous decisions. Hell, we've been in Iraq for 8 years and have not found any WMD's - don't tell Baldy that.

Denying human induced global climate change is nothing but a republican party initiative. Republicans are lazy and afraid to make the tough decisions. It's just what they are - essentially a public relations department for corporate america, especially big oil/coal and defense contractors. :shake:

I know you do Cleets. I would not get your information from Baldy or Z though for the above reasons. These are the same idiots who would have been convinced that smoking is healthy back in the day and would have been numbers 2 and 3 in line to put a bullet through the the head of Martin Luther King or one of the Kennedy's.

With little exception the overwheming concensus of the world wide scientific community, in varying degrees, support a notion that climate change, recent climate change is a result of the endeavors of man.

Every reputable scientific journal, every nation on earth (except us of course) you name it.

According to the conk twins - the world has been duped by professors in tweed suits who are scamming the united states government for research grants.

Corky, my information came from the official budgets of a dozen or more government agencies. I know that in your eyes it's not as reliable as Bill Marr or Rachel Maddow or Keith Olberman...sorry

Speaking of "back in the day"...seeing how you blindly follow the so-called "consensus" like the other sheep in your flock. You are in the same crowd of idiots who claimed the earth was going to go through an ice age back in the 70's. Claimed that the oceans were dying and would be dead in 10 years back in the 80's. The 90's started all the global warming idiocy, and just like always you follow goose stepping to the "global warming" mantra. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

Damn D. You're going for the trifecta. Fool you for a third time, you're just a Tardo....

I believe the Global Climate is changing
I believe there are potentially grave consequences for most mammals due to this change

I am not certain humans have directly effected this change

I believe there are massive misinformation campaigns on both sides of the issue
I believe both sides have profited from the misinformation
