I was going to say that the fact that they're coached by a legend, but it appears that once again I'm laid by the lee; Larry Kehres retired in 2013, and his son took over for a few years before bolting to Toledo. Now some young guy is coaching, but he's continuing the legendary success of Mount Union. Kehres could have done it, but your citation of the finances would be a key stumbling block....
