Liberty 3B/leadoff hitter Devyn Howard set a school record by getting a base hit or better in 11 straight at bats in a 12-0 slaughter of Rutgers that ended by the run rule after five innings. In the process, Liberty improved to 10-6 on the season after opening 0-5. Rutgers dropped to 11-5. Karlie Keeney tossed another no-hitter, giving up only one walk. Keeney is now 6-2 on the season.
SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
