Evangel beat Culver-Stockton 26-0 today on the strength of a team-record EIGHT interceptions. I can't remember the last time I heard of ANY team at ANY level getting that many. Also included in this amazing defensive performance was a blocked punt, a safety following a muffed punt, and recovering a goal line fumble. DB Athanie Leeviraphan had a hat trick of picks, including a pick six. Culver-Stockton passed for FORTY-ONE yards.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
