Bowl Picture as We Know It

As you all know, I don't much like the bowls. But there's one matchup already set that I like.

New Mexico Bowl: 1400 EST, Sat 18 DEC
BYU vs. UTEP

Beef 'O'Brady's Bowl: 2000 EST, Tues 21 DEC
Southern Mississippi vs. TBD

Poinsettia Bowl: 2000 EST, Thu 23 DEC
Navy vs. San Diego State

Pinstripe Bowl: 1520 EST, Thu 30 DEC
Kansas State vs. Syracuse

Cotton Bowl: 2000 EST, Fri 07 JAN
TBD vs #19 Texas A&M

I like the natural pairing of Navy and SDSU in the San Diego-based Poinsettia Bowl. In addition, the K-State-Syracuse matchup could be a good one. But what the cr@p are the Pinstripe Bowl and the Beef 'O'Brady's Bowl? Are they new bowls or old ones with new signature sponsors? I absolutely ABHOR whoring out naming rights....

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Yes, the playoffs are better. It's OK to wait to reply until later tonight, though.

I'm torn. I would love USC to beat Auburn..BUT If Auburn wins, they go to the "national championsip". It wouldn't be the NC if the SEC wasn't involved. :twocents: :twocents:

Boise vs. Utah in Vegas. Utah now without their starting QB due to surgery. My guess, Boise pounds them a new asshole.
