Congratulations to Hornet softball coach Kathy Strahan, who notched her 800th D-I win with a 4-2 Game One victory in a double header at USD. The Hornets also won the nightcap 7-1 for Strahan's 801th win.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.
