Stop PSU, Stop!

Post by bluehenbillk »

Here's the all-time POS that I've read on this:

http://www.courierpostonline.com/articl ... A-good-man" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

How about the abused children; they accepted tickets to Penn State games, lunches, dinners, etc. Didn’t they have motives? Why didn’t they go to their parents, police or school officials? Why are they held blameless? Now, years later, they come forward, including Sandusky’s son.

Are you kidding me? The victims had motives? It's the 10 year old boy's faults?

When you read things like this locally, and there are more of these wackos out there, there is no way you can say PSU was handed too stiff of a penalty.

Not defending PSU, but that's from a reader comment section. I challenge you to find a reader comment section of any paper where 2/3 of the posts aren't completely batshit crazy.

I lose my faith in America and humanity every time I read reader comments.

It was actually written in the opinion section of the Camden County (NJ) Courier Post this past Saturday. They were talking about it on WIP this morning for half of a segment saying they know there is Freedom of Press in this country but couldn't believe they published something blaming the victims for what they got.....

What does the opinion of an old confused man have to do with PSU? What does PSU's penalty have to do with the thoughts of one man who may or may not have any connection to the school? (I googled the author and he is in his 80's)

I guess every stupid comment you make should also be directly attributed to UD and all current and former students.

The point Frank is this guy isn't alone. Maybe in his criticisms of the victims he is - but all you have to do is peruse the BWI boards for 5 minutes or less for a totally different point of view on PSU.....

Ok, we can successfully rule Franks Tanks out as a suspect author of that editorial. Next up: is CitadelGrad the author?

Like 93 said, the world is full of batshit crazy people - PSU doesn't have the edge on the percentage of them - there are whackos everywhere.
