Maybe Montana can go Bowling instead? We have 6 Div I wins.

No - you can count ONE FCS win per year, as long as that FCS team offers 58 schollies.

You are thinking of the old rule.
Thought was 57 schollies (.90% of 63)?

70 teams are eligible with UGA winning. Check the I-A standings at ESPN.COM

There are now 71 Bowl eligible teams. Crisis averted.

Washington (Wazoo)
Oregon State (Oregon)
MTSU (FIU)
La Tech (Nevada)

Still can get bowl eligible.

Only 55 teams have 7 or more wins. 5 teams still could get there. At minimum, there will be 10 6-6 teams in bowls this year.

32 would work better.

FCS is better anyway. As much as I don't like Delaware, Delaware as FCS Champions is more meaningful to me than any paper champion the FBS falsely posits.

Delaware doesn't like you either. The good thing for Delaware is that there is no chance you will ever win an FCS championship.

Correction - there are only 70 Bowl eligible teams, right now.

USC, which has seven wins, is on probation this year and next, and banned from bowls.
