Back in the day, I used to run my Del Sol consistently at 100 from Billings to Miles City. Like you said, gotta have enough room to do it.Grizalltheway wrote:****, I got my parents' 2000 Accord up to 120 when I was 16. Cliff Harris is lightning in a bottle on the field.
And off the field unfortunately
Ran his mouth quite a bit to the media last fall. All pretty harmless, but I hope this kid gets a grip and saves his young career - because he is talented.

New evidence coming out in the traffic stop of Cliff Harris. Seems it is a bigger deal that what we were led to believe.

Darren Thomas (Ducks starting QB and Heisman candidate) was the other person in the car. Memorable quotes (Trooper: "Where's the weed in the car?", Harris: "We smoked it all"). Anyway, the fallout of all this has brought the whole episode back to the forefront and, with the NCAA still investigating, the season has not started out like Chip Kelly wanted.

Harris talks in this video. Dude is a non-stop riot. "Man it's crazy in Autzen stadium. I feel like a whole 'nother person. Just going crazy OUT MY MIND."

Re: Ducks' Harris cited for driving 118 mph
I drove faster than that twice back in the 70s. Once with my LeMans Sport and once with my brother's Dodge Charger. Both times I was just trying to see if they'd go as fast as their speedometers went. Both times I chickened out and slacked off before I reached the top. I remember my LeMans speedometer went to 140. Don't remember what my brother's Charger speedometer topped off at. But I did get above 120 in both. At least according to the speedometers.JayJ79 wrote:I drove almost that fast once. dumb thing to do, sure (especially with a suspended license),
but I can't exactly throw stones in this instance.
