ASU vs. GSU Sept 25th!!!
Re: ASU vs. GSU Sept 25th!!!
Why don't they use Young Hoe on FGs and XPs? Or do they use him over Hanks outside a certain range?
That first ~55 yard run right up the middle on ASU was a thing of beauty.
Paulson looked good on TV. I didn't even realize they had decked the visitor side. Last time I was there where that new deck is I was looking at some black chick's ass while waiting in line with BTK to buy a GSU stadium cup. Even ran into Ivytalk.

I think most of us expected it. GSU is two one-score losses to NC State and G-Tech from being undefeated. They may be rookie winners of the Sun Belt. No Camelia Bowl for the Eagles. We're talking GoDaddy or New Orleans Bowl all the way!CID1990 wrote:i called itCID1990 wrote:it will be a yawner because it is a sun blet game

How ironic would it be if GSU and ODU met in a bowl this year? Could happen. GSU is legitimately decent and ODU scheduled creampuffs all year as usual.

Young Hoe and Hanks are about as even as you get. Hanks can put kickoffs through the endzone too, but he has a tendency to hook them out of bounds. Hoe is a little more consistent.93henfan wrote:Why don't they use Young Hoe on FGs and XPs? Or do they use him over Hanks outside a certain range?

On a different note, many of our new brethren in the Sun Belt are finding it hard to believe that a little ol' FCS move up with FCS players is doing so well in our new league.
Re: ASU vs. GSU Sept 25th!!!
Top level FCS has historically fallen in the 26-75 range in most ratings systems of all of Division 1. No reason a playoff team like GSU shouldn't be able to move up and compete in a Sunbelt level conference, perhaps the worst in FBS the past few years.

I will take ASU. Avatar bet?
EDIT: Oh BTW 93, I think Young hoe had 5 kickoffs go as touchbacks.

Flaggy must have pull with their AD. He loves him some creampuffs with his Funyuns.93henfan wrote:I think most of us expected it. Re: ASU vs. GSU Sept 25th!!!
GSU was 7-4 last year with a nice final win vs. Florida. Clearly they were beginning to find their mojo toward the end of the season and have further refined it this year. Since they've already gotten past us I'll wish them continued success for the balance of the season. App's recruiting and overall youth will take another year or so to get us competitive in the conference.93henfan wrote:Top level FCS has historically fallen in the 26-75 range in most ratings systems of all of Division 1. Fun Fact: GSU is 5-0 on covering all spreads this season...The ONLY team in the FBS to do so.
