Not only are you conference jock-holding, you are They-do-even-belong-yet-jock-holding
Just proud of our newest conference member. As a baseball conference, the Slum Belch is light years ahead of the Big South. Adding Coastal only made it better.

Yet the Big South has a team in Omaha
And for CWS appearances while Sun Belt members, the same number of CWS appearances by Big South teams vs Sun Belt teams.

Cool story Bro, but still doesn't take away the fact that the Slum Belch is light years ahead of the Big South.
Big South 30 total appearances in the NCAA Regionals (15 by CCU)
Slum Belch 86 total appearances in the NCAA Regionals

Yup, this is our first trip, although we've gotten really close in past.
Congrats CCU! Welcome to the Sun Belt (soon). Glad to see you did it in the Big South as well. Kind of like Davidson making their run in basketball a few years ago while in the SoCon.
I was pulling for LSU but I still think the NCAA baseball tournament is cool in that the schools outside of the power 5 have a fighting chance and can compete. This year CCU and Cal State Santa Barbara made it into the final 8.
I can't remember teams outside of the power 5 other than some of the "Cal States" winning the whole deal but who knows?
Well, I believe that I must tell the truth
And say things as they really are
But if I told the truth and nothing but the truth

Agree 100% - congrats to CCU & UCSB - I'll be rooting for both!!
UCSB eliminates Miami! Of the original 8 seeded teams when the tourney started, only 3 made it to Omaha. After Florida/Texas Tech today, only 1 will be left.
Another big game tonight (9pm, IIRC). An elimination game on Thursday vs winner of Florida / Texas Tech with the winner of that game playing the Coastal / TCU winner on Friday. Taking on #5 TCU will be another challenge, but Coastal has shown that it can overcome a Goliath.
