I think it belongs back at the Tub, like it was in the mid-80s. We could actually fill the stadium.andy7171 wrote:Where it belongs.Ivytalk wrote:Where will the lax Final Four be this year? Boston, Baltimore or Philly?![]()

I think there was over 50,000 at the last one here in Murdermore. eMpTy Bank Stadium holds 69K. It didn't hurt Hopkins was in the finals either.
I like how they combine all three divisions (does anyone care/play D.II lax?) into the whole weekend.
The championship was in Delaware? I thought it bounced around but usually fell in Byrd Stadium in College Park.

How bout Notre Dame knocking off Maryland today to reach the Final 4. They'd have to play UVA next though so enjoy the crabs in Baltimore....

ND's defense is the real deal.
Let's go Stony Brook! I'd love to see a third ACC team knocked out this weekend.

# 1 Virginia ended our lax season today beating us 10-9. SBU dominated on face offs 18-5 but couldnt quite put it over the top.
Re: The official 2010 NCAA LAX Thread
It was a very exciting game. It seemed like every time SB tied the game, UVA would get a goal or two with ease, which had to be demoralizing.Seawolf97 wrote:# 1 Virginia ended our lax season today beating us 10-9. SBU dominated on face offs 18-5 but couldnt quite put it over the top.
Watching the games this weekend (and last), I don't see how anybody stops Dook. Them boys is good.

Dave Cottle resigns from Maryland after the loss to ND. Pretty big deal.
I don't have the bracket in front of me, can Duke play UVa in the final? If so M&T Bank Stadium will be filled.

Every year Scott Marr is on the short list of some major LAX programs coaching quest.

I have to think if this had happened before last week, Towson wouldn't have re-signed Seaman.

Notre Dame 12, Cornell 7
Duke 14, Virginia 13
Notre Dame v. Duke in finals tomorrow.
Gosh! What's a Duke-hater and ND-hater like me supposed to do?

ND has the best defense in the tournament, but I still think Dook takes them, something like 12-8.

I couldn't really care less for either program, but damn that was a great game. And as a ex long poler, I love how the game ended with a long stick middie scoring.
I hear the wlax championship drew 9800 at Unitas Stadium.

Rooted for ND but was glad to see Duke get the win given all the BS that the program went through over the past few years.
