Better now than in the CAA's, if Delaware were to make it.

I looked at Delaware's season. What a schizo team. They beat a couple of ranked teams and lost to a bunch of bad ones. Gotta question coaching when that happens, unless there's some injury story.

Glad to see you guys knock off the Johnny Come Lately from flyover territory. Lacrosse is not supposed to be played west of Hagerstown. They import most of their players from the EC(b) anyway. They are flyover in name only (FINO).

Four of the final eight schools are from Maryland.

While I agree with most of what you are saying. I read somewhere that Denver requires60-70% of scholarships go to players west of the Mississippi.

That said, WTF are Denver and Marquette doing in the Big East?

Link it or I don't believe it. When they did player intros in the final last year, I remember them being 90% east coast, at least the starters.

Looking at Denver's roster, they do have a shit ton of players from Colorado, California and several other wide open uninhabited areas.

I took a look at their roster and it does have more flyover people that I imagined, but it still has 22 players from the eastern time zone, and I'm willing to bet the starters are even more slanted toward the east.

It is quite an accomplishment for a school nobody's ever heard of out in Colorado to put together a championship lacrosse program though.

A kid from my son's HS got a scholarship offer for lacrosse from Denver. And he is only a freshman right now.
He had offers from UNC, Syracuse, and just about every major program but chose Denver. :ohno:
He is a faceoff (or whatever you call it) specialist. He wins them nearly every time, then runs off the field.

I'm just amazed that this kid is a freshman in HS and he doesn't have to go through the hassle of choosing a college anymore. :notworthy:

There's a bunch of D3 and NAIAs starting programs in Iowa.

The first D3 program to start is a few years old and is the womens program at Wartburg. I saw they are looking for an assistant coach right now. The pay is a full $10,400 per year with 5 meals per week at the dining center paid for.....

Other than Animal Husbandry and Cannabis Cultivation and Distribution, does Denver have any accredited programs?

Actually, I'm pretty sure Denver is very good academically.

Yes, they have top 25 programs in Animal Husbandry and CC&D. Why so defensive?

Denver's starting goalie is from Pennsylvania - only a Freshman.

Their face off guy is from NJ (maybe the most important position on the team) - only a sophomore winning 69.4% of faceoffs which is insanely good - 4th best in the NCAA

Top goal scorers (10 or more) are from NY (46), NY (27), Colorado (22), British Columbia (21), Ontario (19), Colorado (18), Mass (13), California (10), and Connecticut (10)

The 7 who started all 16 games are from PA (goalie), NY, NY, British Columbia, Colorado, Colorado, NJ

Others who started games are from CO (11), Mass (10), NJ (10), California (6), Colorado (6), California (5)

The faceoff guy from NJ is not considered a starter for some reason (maybe because he takes the faceoff then immediately runs off the field) but obviously played in all games because he has taken 392 of 416 faceoffs for the team
