wow. im cheerin on CCU, VMI, AND Liberty this year. Liberty over the other 2 schools of course BUT the Big South is impressive in baseball this year. especially CCU and VMI! i think the VMI-LU games will be close with VMI coming out on top.

CCU moves to 30-5 (9-0) with an 8-2 win over Gardner Webb on the road. Cody Wheeler threw a complete game for the Chants.

CCU moved to 31-5 (10-0) with a 24-10 win over Gardner Webb yesterday afternoon.

Liberty completes the sweep over VMI 13-8.......a very dangerous offensive bunch in Lynchburg this season ........VMI on the bus back to Lexington wondering what happened to their middle relief this weekend.


.........meanwhile, High Point on Sunday scored 17 runs.....and still lost to RU by one.

Keydets continue to slide, fine pitching by CCU.........Keydets w/10 LOB's in the first 7 innings (the same bug-a-boo that has plagued them for a couple of seasons).

Coastal defeats VMI 6-2 to win their 17th in a row. CCU moves to 36-5 (14-0)

CCU drops to 36-6 (14-0) after a 6-3 loss on the road to #1 Virginia. CCU gave up a 2-out grand slam in the 2nd (a rally that started w/ noone on and 2 out). The loss snaps CCU's 17 game win streak.

Coastal Carolina defeats UNC Asheville 6-4 yesterday and 7-1 today to move to 39-6 (17-0)
