I'm not sure I get that comment. Marshall's first three seasons in I-A/FBS:

1997: 10-3, conference champ in first year, lost to #22 Ole Miss by 3 in bowl, Heisman finalist (Moss)
1998: 12-1, back to back conference champ, beat Louisville in bowl
1999: 13-0, finished AP #10, 3-peat conference champ, beat BYU in bowl
Delaware Football: 1889-2012; 2022-

We'll compare the ratings when they come out. :thumb:

FCS Semifinal playoff ratings:

NDSU / Richmond: 741k viewers
SHSU / JSU: 256k viewers
http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/2015/12 ... mpionship/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Camelia Bowl ratings:
1.85m viewers

http://www.sportsmediawatch.com/college ... v-ratings/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

So, the two FCS semfinals added together to about half the viewers of our bowl game.

And, Georgia Southern's bowl game had 2.335m viewers...

I just looked up the semifinal games... I don't think there were three?

Or do you mean the championship? I thought it was on ESPN2?

Also, why only one FCS game on the mothership? :cry:

NDSU's quarterfinal game was on the mothership and drew a 1.6 IIRC (posted in the other thread I think). You're usually decent with the facts, so you're excused.

FBS bowls will tend to draw more. They have a shit ton of better branding and greater promotion and exposure. No argument there, and my "nobody cares about the Camellia bowl" remark was a bit of smack so you can undo your panty wad now. :thumb:

So three FCS games, two with the defending Champs, had about the same number of viewers as Georgia Southern drew for it's Bowl game.

Good to know. :thumb:

Or the Camellia Bowl with all of the bowl marketing and mentions across the ESPN spectrum was (barely) beat the lone FCS playoff game to make it on the mothership.

(Hint: It's supposed to)

Oh I know...the lone football game on a Saturday afternoon at noon vs. one of only five bowl games, 2 or 3 played during the same time. It's all relative...

Well, it did beat the quarterfinal game...

...and not barely.

It beat it by about the same amount of people that watched the SHSU - JSU game. (250k) :lol:

But, the important thing is that at least you concede this now:
