Do you post on your schools home message board?

I did for a couple years, in fact I have over 3K posts, but today was my last day there for various reasons. Panthernation has become a joke and most of the posters over there are douchebags...and and there is the face that I get turned into my boss for everything I say that isn't pro-UNI. Apparenlty being a student-worker for the UNI ticket office means I can no long have an opinion that is bad about UNI in any form.

I've got a couple hundred posts on egriz, but THIS is my home board.

I think I have 27 posts on the uffp. I like the board but I like to talk to folks from around the FCS nation.

Thanks to this weekend, our explosion has settled. However, another loss at home probably will re-ignite things.



I live on "The Lords of Discipline" board more right now, but I enjoy reading and following both.

IMO home boards are just circle jerks. You jerk each other off nicely and with lube because of how good your team is. Or you jerk each other off really hard and without lube because of how bad your team is.

I have more posts on UFFP than I do on GSUFans. I have 2 posts on my home board.

Yep....that's why I just lurk on the UMass board...I think I have one or two posts, but that's it...

I post on my home board for one reason: to educate our fan base. Almost all Albany athletics fans are basketball fans who know absolutely nothing about FCS football. I post over there to keep everyone informed and to make sure they actually know there is something out there for FCS football that is well above the NEC level of play.

I would never do such a thing, as taking a message board that seriously is pretty lame.

Did someone actually do that? I thought it was just it threat by somebody, but if they really did that is ridiculous. I don't have a problem with Panthernation, I think it is a good active site that always has good discussion. Of course, there is always annoying people that stir stuff up, but you get that on every site, including here. So what?

I stand by my statement. Don't take it so seriously.

Try multiple somebodies emailing my boss trying to get me fired. Hell, as of this morning 5 of my posts from yesterday were sitting on my bosses e-mail that I had to talk to him about. Yep, great fucking site that is. The UNI fan base, at least the ones on panthernation are a joke for humanity.

I am the same way. Have some on Samfords, CCUs and Woffords (in fact on the Wofford board, I ask that my title not be L'il pup" or whatever they use, so DJ made my title Dungeon Joe's Gopher Boy )

I don't post on GSU's mainly because they have 20,000 posters. Hard to get a word in.

I like reading the uffp for information and some insight but I prefer the talk with other team's fans. Nothing against the uffp it is simply a matter of taste and preference.

If I were an employee of the university I supported, I think I'd have remained anonymous.

Tried to remain anonymous with my job until a douchebag who tried to charge me with stalking his girlfriend for an email she sent me outed my job position. The posts people want me fired for has nothing to do with ticket sales, nothing to with athletic information, etc... it has to with my opinion of Pat Grace and how well he plays against good teams.

They didn't. Like I said, some fucking douchebag Iowa fan that has hated me for years and transfered from Iowa to UNI because of this whole stalking/harassing his girlfriend (which is bullshit, she looks and talks like a man and I've talked to her twice in my life both initiated by her) and he has done everything he can to make sure I fail at life. Anyway, a while back he got pissed at something I said that proved him wrong so he outed me and where I work. I, by no doings of my own, was outed.


What is ironic is the athletic director is on panthernation and defends himself acting as someone else all the time, but no one else knows who it is...funny shit there.

You'd be shocked how much I know about what is going on at UNI with the athletic department since I'm just a lowly student. I hope to whatever god you pray to that not all athletic departments and universities are run the same way.


If I really wanted to get fired I'd out the AD, the universities president, and about 4 or 5 higher ups in the athletic department that are on PN. Not sure if many of them know who each other are though since one rips TD non stop.

Emailing stuff like that to someone's boss is pretty lame.

But as a general rule, you shouldn't post anything on a public forum that could get you into trouble with your boss, as there is always a chance that they'll read it. Especially when that public board is centered around something that your employer is closely connected to.
