Jahvid Best landed awkwardly

Cal standout back Jahvid Best heading into the endzone went airborne and landed very awkwardly on the back of his neck. Has not moved yet. He leapt over an Oregon State tackler at the end zone and was pushed by another Beaver tackler. No more information as of yet.

Updated condition at the half. Best has a concussion, but does have movement in all extremities. Is at the hospital. Cal will issue another statement sometime after the ball game.

Dude ended up about 12 feet in the air before he came down.

Looked like he tried to pull a Marcus Allen only near the sideline vice between the hashes. Got himself a back body drop for his efforts and he wasn't careful about his landing. Could have jacked himself up really bad.
Learn how to fall before you try to fly. A failure to do so can have disastrous results.
