Yup now they can't be "embarrassed". Sucks for TCU, they deserved better.

What a crock-load of shit, give me a fcuking break. The BCS is BS...wow. It's sad, yet predictable, that they royally fcuked the non-BCS teams.
Appalachian State Mountaineers:

National Champions: 2005, 2006, and 2007
Southern Conference Champions: 1986, 1987, 1991, 1995, 1999, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2012

A lot of people around the internet are suggestin' the two teams don't show up for the game, or kneel down on every play. That second part would be amazing and I think I'd watch every kneel down, but it'll never happen. Man, what an effin' joke the BCS is!

I agree. It would never happen.
though I wonder how long they'd allow that to go on if two teams DID try that.

I think then we would have seen Texas/TCU. But with that, the BCS is still a farce.

I've heard the argument that after the other bowls got their conference tie-ins from among the B(C)$ qualifiers, the Fiesta "chose" Boise. I don't buy it. Boise belongs in Pasadena.

Nebraska didn't lose that game. It was flat-out STOLEN by the third team on the field.

The clock legitimately ran out, but the zebras bailed UT out like the refs bailed out CCCP in '72.

Bullshit. Replay clearly showed a second left when the ball landed out of bounds. The officials got it right.
I wanted Nebraska, but they lost fair and square.

BH86 is right. The call was spot on. Nebraska pissed it down their leg when they kicked the kick off out of bounds. That gave Texas an extra 20 yards to start with.

Reminds me of the 1997 Cat/Griz game, when the Cats thought they had Montana beat, then the kickoff sailed out of bounds. The rest is history...

As much as I hate the prevent defense, I also hate it when teams get cute on kickoffs late in the game. It looked like Nebraska was trying to kick the ball to the corner of the field and the ball went out of bounds instead. I think teams should just kick the ball down the middle of the field as hard as they can and then stop the return, especially when they only lead by 1 or 2 points and a FG will beat them.
