As much as I hate to say it, the REAL D-I National Champions are the Villanova Wildcats. This game is meaningless.

SuperHornet's Athletics Hall of Fame includes Jacksonville State kicker Ashley Martin, the first girl to score in a Division I football game. She kicked 3 PATs in a 2001 game for J-State.

Re: MNC Game: Texas vs Alabama
i've seen Texas look very pedestrian in three sloppily played victories this season, can't say I've seen Alarbamer look as bad.
Alarbamer by two TDs and another MNC in their trophy room.

I think Bama wins, but they've had a few slow starts. I just don't think McCoy will have the time to hurt em if they start slow.Wedgebuster wrote:i've seen Texas look very pedestrian in three sloppily played victories this season, can't say I've seen Alarbamer look as bad.

Food for thought:
#2 has beaten #1 4 straight times in the BCS Championship Game
Alabama is #1. Texas is #2.

Food for thought:
The Heisman Trophy Winner has lost 7 of the last 8 times he's been in the BCS championship game.
Alabama's Mark Ingram won the Heisman this year.

Food for thought:
The Big-12 is 2-4 in BCS title games. One of those victories belongs to Texas (2005, vs USC).
The SEC is 3-0 in the last three years in BCS title games. None of those victories belongs to Alabama.

Texas by 6.

Based on AZ's astute observations, I'll take 'bama by 14.

Bama's humbling of Florida impressed me. Texas's near-loss to Nebraska did not. Pick: Bama by 8.

McCoy sure picked the best time in his career to get hurt no? So now you depend on a QB that nobody even knew existed

I hope he's OK, but that hit probably cost him millions of dollars and dropped him several places on draft day.CatMom wrote:McCoy sure picked the best time in his career to get hurt no? So now you depend on a QB that nobody even knew existed

I know. They said it is likely a sprain. You just have to try and understand how much TXST hates UT.Ivytalk wrote:I hope he's OK, but that hit probably cost him millions of dollars and dropped him several places on draft day.CatMom wrote:McCoy sure picked the best time in his career to get hurt no? Re: MNC Game: Texas vs Alabama
That was a pretty shore shit PI call on Texas considering what Bama got away with on the last possession.
Re: MNC Game: Texas vs Alabama
Oh...and Fat Fuck Cody got away with a false start on Bama's first touch down.

However, there's nothing I hate more than shitty officiating. That SJ had to be blind, stupid or biased to not see at least one of those interferences on AL.CatMom wrote:I know. They said it is likely a sprain. You just have to try and understand how much TXST hates UT.Ivytalk wrote:

Bama only up three now.
Bout time Texas let the frosh throw the ball and opened the playbook up

Shippley just went from 1 catch for 5 yards in the first half to 9 catches for 117 yards and 2 TDs in the second half.Willie wrote:Yeah, just got REAL interesting.clenz wrote:Bama only up three now.

At one point under a minute left in the 3rd Bama had three total yards of offense for the half. I think they have more yards off of penalties than offense thus far in the half.
