Yep. I now expect USF to yank even more quality recruits away from FSU.tampajag wrote:Hopefully he can get the city to support the program consistently. Looks like a good hire for the Bulls. It's time for them to take that next step and become true conference title contenders.

How many of their games have you seen? How is that a huge mistake? What are they gonna do win 2 Big East games instead of 3?SuperHornet wrote:USF just made a HUGE mistake. The best guy available was already on staff, just waiting for a promotion. They better hope they don't lose Mike Canales within the Big East. They'll pay big time if that happens.
I didn't realize USF was a "bigger" job than ECU.dgreco wrote:glad to see Skip Holtz get a bigger job. He has done a really good job at ECU and he seemed to continually be looked over by ADs.

If the paycheck is bigger, which I suspect that it is, then yes, USF is a bigger job than ECU.Willie wrote:I didn't realize USF was a "bigger" job than ECU.dgreco wrote:glad to see Skip Holtz get a bigger job. He has done a really good job at ECU and he seemed to continually be looked over by ADs.
why choose the cellar dweller BCS teams? USF is inconsistent as hell but they are on the level of any of those teams you picked from those conferences.clenz wrote:So....Balor >TCUSunCoastBlueHen wrote:

Ahem.
No, I haven't seen a USF game in person. Seen a couple on TV, though. My argument is based more on knowing Canales personally. As in he was my position coach, so I know how good the guy is having seen him in action every day over an entire season.tampajag wrote:How many of their games have you seen? It was time for changes to be made on both sides of the ball.
I was wondering the same thingWillie wrote:I didn't realize USF was a "bigger" job than ECU.dgreco wrote:glad to see Skip Holtz get a bigger job. He has done a really good job at ECU and he seemed to continually be looked over by ADs.
