Apparently we played them twice this weekend. 2-0 start. Rare for Towson to say the least lately.

are they competing in socks, or are those "special shoes"?

Limber ladies can definitely be fun.

I still love to watch Sac Gymnastics on occasion, even though the best gymnast I've ever seen has long departed the college scene.

I REALLY miss Jolane Parr. Shoulda gone to the Olympics....

I lived next door to a girl,(Tower D Pride!) who broke her leg when she was 13 and missed the '84 olympics because of it. She was awsome for Towson!

I'm guessing that she didn't go in 1988 because she was too old at 17. :?:

Complete misconception. There was a 35-year-old girl at the last Olympics who medalled.

Wouldn't that be a 35-year-old woman?

I mean, if I referred to a guy as a 35-year-old boy, people would find it strange.

Though I suppose it all depends on how the individual in question behaves. I know there are some 35 year olds out there that still act pretty immature.

She wasn't Olympic quality, just All-American.

The US swimming medalist was in her early 40s. There was a Russian flipping for Germany who medalled in gym at about 35.

When it comes to the latest crop of Olympians, it's all about Shawnie. But my ultimate choice would have to be Amanda Borden from the Mag 7.

Miss Johnson just had a birthday recently. Not that that has anything to do with TU Gymnastics, I just thought I'd mention it.

True. Though I personally don't consider balls to be all that "hot", so it isn't really saying much.
But hey, if you dig balls, more power to ya.
