UMass mens lacrosse moved to 2 - 0 with a 20-10 win over Hartford at the friendly confines of Garber Field. It was the most goals scored by the team in eight years...
Senior captains Bobby Hayes and Ryan Smith each scored three goals in the win. For Smith, the goals were the first three of his career. Hayes now leads UMass with seven goals. Art Kell, Kyle Smith, and Anthony Biscardi all scored a pair.

Seven different Minutemen had at least three points as Hantverk added two assists for a career-high six points. Hayes also had two helpers for a career-high five points. Will Manny scored a goal and added three assists for four points.
