Since Bodoyle and I will probably be filling up the "baseball" thread, I figured I'd try to start our own thread for Big South Baseball, which is significantly better than the other sports in conference.
Winthrop got three wins at the Bojangles Baseball Classic. One more game tomorrow, apparently.
Liberty swept Kennesaw State.
CCU is 2-1, with a loss to Kentucky (who was predicted as a top 40 team.).

CCU was 12th in the nation... wonder how that loss will effect there rank? They don't seem to be playing as well as I thought they would. I thought they would have put up more points on West Virginia.

Tomorrow we have a 4pm game at Wake Forest. The record is 13-12, Wake. There's a great chance of taking them tomorrow and getting closer to the Top 10. I really think we can to the Top 10 this year.

Any way to follow that game? Even if it means listening to *shudder* Matt Hogue?

Coastal got out of a couple of jams thanks to a lot of good pitching, and won 2-0 in Winston-Salem today.

CCU/UCI game today was cancelled because of "weather" (40 degrees - weak ass southerners).
They will play a doubleheader on Saturday.

Wow... that's sad. LU played a weekend series with a drizzle, overcast, and 35 degrees each game against Rider a couple years ago. And that would have been easily canceled if they had wanted to. Beach life has the chickens spoiled...

i can't tolerate him anymore. I remember being at a party with him, he went up to this chick talking about kicking field goals and she called him a pussy.

Liberty gets the best of Morehead today.
Tyler Bream lowers his batting average, going 2-4 with an RBI. Nate Thompson hit a game tying HR in the 7th and finished 3-3. Shawn Teufel goes 6 strong innings of shutout ball, the only runs given up by LU some out of the hand of Carter Browning, who had a runner reach by error, followed by a home run.
Lehigh tomorrow, UNCW Sunday.

Nice, good luck.
Liberty won 6-3 over Lehigh today. Scored a lot early then coasted to a win, relievers had some control issues.
