Something about 1-3 inches of snow expected in Huntsville, Texas on Tuesday night could have had something to do with it. SHSU called it on Monday, was no reason to mess around. Not sure why the reasons were hard to find out...
Texas A&M's head groundskeeper also said that it was the first game (Tuesday night vs SFA) was the first in his 30+ years to be called for snow.

CatMom - for future reference, use D1Baseball.com to get "fair and accurate" reporting on Division I baseball as far as scores go.
For the date you had in question, it clearly stated impending weather...

Can you figure out who's at bat and who is actually winning by looking at this?

The scoreboard has a box around the inning that is currently in play. That makes it evident who is at bat. And the score is also at the top. Was it different when you checked it out?

Southeastern Louisiana would like to be SLU instead of SELU.
We could use logic and save a letter by calling your institution TSU instead of TXST, however out of respect to Texas Southern and Tarleton State, we call you guys TXST.
Acronyms are tricky!

Once again you fail to find/see the humor implied in my posts. I'm used to using SELA but took it upon myself to be using SLU in the future. I can change, unlike others we know

Final from Starkvegas ... SLU 6, Mississippi State 5
SLU sweeps three-game series

and improve to 7-0 on the season ... first-ever sweep of an SEC school ... Lions come back twice from two-run deficits and snap 5-5 tie in the eighth with a steal of home.

excellent
Hey, where's that guy that dissed your team awhile back?
TXST faired poorly in the Baylor classic. Dropped all 3
Baylor 3-2
WKU - 4-3
TAMU - 6-2
Putting us at 3-3. Doesn't get any easier. Rice on Tuesday but TAMU-CC next weekend.
Our pitching ain't so bad but our hitting hasn't settled in yet.

Don't know where he's been lately, though his Cowboys (cough, cough) almost beat LSU last week.
The sweep is believed the be the first-ever for a Southland school against the SEC. A friend of mine who follows Northwestern State can't think of a time the Demons pulled it off and I'm pretty sure that McNeese and Nicholls (definite on that one) have never swept. The only possibility could be Louisiana-Monroe when they were in the conference and had Smoke Laval coaching them and some pretty good arms (Ben Sheets, etc.)
The losses to Baylor and A&M don't sting as much, but I don't like the loss to WKU (not a bad Sun Belt team, but ......)
With TH at the helm, the Cats will still be in the top three in the Southland. Glad the Bobcats (and UTSA, UTA and SHSU) are all coming to Hammond

Our toughest Southland series on the road might be against Lamar and we have to go to McNeese, AMCC and SFA, plus two games at Nicholls.
