Metal bats need to go in college baseball. there is no reason for them.

Agreed. I would love to see wood bats in high school as well. However, college needs them for sure

Some college and high school summer leagues are already wood bat leagues. The only reason NCAA hasn't done this already is because the aluminum bat manufacturers' lobby in Indy.

Some college and high school summer leagues are already wood bat leagues. The only reason NCAA hasn't done this already is because the aluminum bat manufacturers' lobby in Indy.
I know in Iowa there are wood bat leagues in the fall, but I would like to see a push to get them out of at least the NCAA.

It may be too expensive for a lot of smaller high schools to afford that many wood bats at the rate they may break.

I agree. Also, high schoolers aren't as big and strong as college players, so there is less of a safety issue in letting high schoolers use aluminum bats.
