Of course they wait until my career is over to start putting in turf but it's still cool none the less. I'm really interested to see what they do since all the plans were kept secret. Hopefully they put maroon endzones in and not our notre dame gold like they previously discussed (Washington's looks terrible).

I never said a thing about it. I think it's cool to see the progress. Wouldn't have posted it if I was still living there because I'd see it every day but I'm not.

It's about time they did this. I have a couple pictures of my brother playing on the old field and you could hardly see the #'s on the front. He use to say his favorite games were road games.

You're telling me. I had to put up with it for 4 years. We had a game this past season, homecoming I think, and it was about mid-season and the field was solid mud. It was a mess. They're putting lights up too so that area high schools can use the field as well.

They've gotten a lot done this week but it looks like they took the rest of the week for the Fourth. Can't wait to see what they decided to put at midfield...whether it's the "C" or our mascot.
