CCU Baseball: Best conference record ever in D1

CCU finished the regular season at 47-7 (25-0) b/c the last game was rained out. As far as anyone can tell this is the most conference wins in the history of D1 baseball a team has had that finished the season undefeated. CCU is the only Big South team to go undefeated. In 1988 they were 15-0 in conference.
Per Josh Hoke's blog from The Sun News: No team in a conference that still exists has won more than 18 conference games to finish undefeated over the last 40 years, according to research by The Sun News and the Big South. It is possible that Coastal had more conference wins to complete an undefeated run than any team in college baseball history.
This is pretty damn impressive. Yea, the Big South is pretty crappy other than Liberty, but we outscored our conference opponents 276-86, averaging 11.04 runs per game while allowing only 3.44
