Apparntly Texas' decision came after being guaranteed by A&M they wont leave. They need to be more concerned about someone in the North still leaving such as Missouridgreco wrote:they have to take in 2 teams, but I wonder who they will be taking in? Would TCU get an invite and actually go? What if Texas A&M still leaves?
But they will lose their championship game and a lot of money.dbackjon wrote:And they likely would stay at 10 for now.
Nebraska and Colorado are still there for 2010 and Nebraska leaves next season.. I think its likely they will add another team later this year efffective next year and then another team will be added in the run up to Colorado's departure after the 2011 season. The Big 12 doesn't need to rush expansion.dgreco wrote:But they will lose their championship game and a lot of money.dbackjon wrote:And they likely would stay at 10 for now.
So who could they invite?UNHWildCats wrote:Nebraska and Colorado are still there for 2010 and Nebraska leaves next season.. they could add a couple Texas schools and have a texas division and move the Oklahomas to the other div and split up the two power schools. While that would mean that Texas and Oklahoma wont be guaranteed to play every year it does set up the possibility of a Texas vs Oklahoma Championship game which would be a ratings bonanza.dbackjon wrote:So who could they invite?UNHWildCats wrote: Nebraska and Colorado are still there for 2010 and Nebraska leaves next season..
