Travis is right here though - they're not changing the name - it's an institution now, no sense changing that trademark.

Look, I dont care what anyone says now, but it was posed as a question asking if 30 wins was a possibility, not stating fact that indeed based on how many wins he had and how many starts remaining that indeed technically it was possible to win 30 games.

I stand by what I said. 30 wins is not going to happen. Even if we want to go buy the literal meaning of the word, it still isnt possible, not when you factor in the intangibles.

It his, however, still possbile is it not? He has something like 23 or 24 starts left probably. It isn't impossible for him to get to 30.

Improbable, sure. Impossible? Nope.

Will they? No

Should they at least consider it? Yes

I had found the Great North 12 ones too...but they completely lack relevancy since I know the person who made them.

I know the Big North one is from the same messageboard.

Keep in mind that if the Big Ten goes to 14 and adds Indiana and Syracuse, or Syracuse and Pittsburgh, or Pittsburgh and Missouri they could still keep the Big Ten name as meaning ten states.

For Football they can have the slogan "The Big Ten... And other two.... Yes Indiana and Northwestern, we're looking at you"

Doesn't the B10 already have Indiana...and Purdue?


The B10 only needs one more school from another state to reach 10 states. Rutgers, Syracuse, or Mizzou would all accomplish that.

True, but the person that posted it there is not the same person that designed it. I know the person who did personally.

The Big Ten and Big XII should just switch names being the Big Ten has 12 schools and the Big XII has 10. Nebraska wouldn't have to change any logo's.
