WOW! UofA just had 4 sacks in a row to ice it! WTF! :notworthy: :notworthy:

My sister is at this game. She is on scholarship for tack and field and XC. That lucky girl.

34-27 Final. Nothing better than seeing a Big 10 ranked school go down...especially to a "west coast" team.

Yeah its official...my theory of the awesomeness of the state of Iowa causing UM to lose is debunked...well I tried. :ohno:

Iowa and Iowa State left Iowa, they should have known better. UNI just had the misfortune of being so severely bruised and battered from the might Bison. ;)

Watched the whole game last night, until 1:30 am local time. That first quarter was painful if you are a Hawkeye fan (even a very casual hawk fan like myself). You can't give up 21 points without hardly letting your defense on the field. And those 4 sacks were just absurd. Fight that long and hard to get back in it, and then piss away your last chance like that.

3rd quarter was also painful, just because penalties, reviews, injuries, etc prevented the game from getting any flow.

U of A's QB looked good though...that last scoring drive was solid.

Something needs to be done about reviews. It killed the game. :ohno:

I would gladly take reviews in the FCS, even if it slowed the game down. I'm so sick of shitty refs not getting their shitty calls right.

Alas, I don't think "enticing the crowd" is reviewable, even in the NFL. ;op

Iowa losing was the only good thing about the weekend. Now I don't have to listen to the dumbass Hawkeye fans talk about a national championship.

Game was even worse than may have been thought for IA: Jewel Hampton is out for the season. There is now 1 RB left. Anyone here got a year of eligibility left?
