This is rough...
The injury was at the C3-C4 level of LeGrand's vertebrae, and emergency surgery was performed to stabilize his spine. LeGrand is in intensive care at Hackensack and is expected to remain there for the near future, according to a statement released by the Rutgers athletic department.

Video included. Special Teams big hit.

The best comment so far:
Maybe one day coaches will start teaching kids to hit correctly and not lead with their head down rather than celebrating big hits that make loud noises.

Gave me chills to watch that replay.......I hope the guy can recover from this, it's just terrible.

My thoughts exactly. I hope he's able to recover, the next week or so will be crucial for him.
