Illinois/Northwestern is being played at Wrigley this weekend.

I would hope that those Allstate/fake ivy things that they put up are padded.

It's not like this is the biggest football game ever staged at Wrigley. Several NFL Championship Games were held there.

That's just stupid. Who would try to plya a football game in a place where there wasn't sufficient space between the field and the cement wall?

FYI, here's how Yankee Stadium is looking for Army/Notre Dame. Some corner routes could end up in the bullpen.

The blue-collar folks don't like a snobby rich private school taking over their ballpark.

AT&T seemed to fit a football field much better.

If it were at the Cell I could believe this but Cubs fans and blue-collar are oxymorons.

It might not be the safest place for a game but it is huge for PR and recruiting.

It also means that the Cubs are the 4th best entertainment option at their own park after the Blackhawks, college football and concerts.
