It's just another FCS conference now. Now if Idaho were to go back to FCS and re-join the BSC then my plan all comes together.

So...the MWC is now the WAC plus TCU....who is going to bolt for the Big East.


Boise didn't really get any "step up" in terms of conference like they wanted.

yeah boise really got screwed out of this deal. They went to the MWC thinking it was a step up, which it was. But now literally every good program is leaving, and almost every WAC program has followed them. They are now essentially in the exact situation, except with a different name...

MWC still has Air Force, and a very improved SDSU. And unless the Big East invites TCU for ALL sports, it isn't going there.

I really hope TCU doesn't leave the MWC.. as far as football goes, that would really weaken the top half of the conference.

TCU insiders are saying it's happening. So it's going there.

All the FBS moves this year have been a clusterfuck and we're the ones about to get screwed....in the end.

I find it odd that the HI newspaper is claiming this "invite" w/o corroboration from the BW....

Boise didn't get fucked, at least Idaho, New Mexico St., San Jose St., Utah St. La Tech won't be conference games. The shit at the bottom of the MWC smells better than the WAC.

this tells me TCU is gone, the MWC doesn't want 11 football members. It's retarded that hawaii just can't be a full member of a conf. where every member was a former conf. member of Hawaii. I wonder if this means BYU back in the MWC for other sports? it would make 10/10.

I wonder if this means the WAC will be forced to beg LA Tech to stay....

I feel bad for you guys. I hope the WAC pushes on w/ 7/8 and adds Seattle. Then they need to get Lamar to join. I heard that SHSU said they couldn't make it in FBS, Texas Terror had a heart attack and died when he heard that Texas St. was moving to FBS and his school wasn't. But if the WAC is no more then someone needs to revive his ass.

The WAC is still an all sports conf with 8. It's just the fb will be a scheduling affiliation until they get an 8th. I think the NCAA will give them a 2 year waiver. I believe were going to do that with the Big East.

they already did with UTSA and Texas St. being added right near them.

It does line up with the Big West lifting it's moratorium on new members a few days ago and TCU going to the Big East.

Of course, the folks at ECU are going to be pissed about the TCU news.

They'll be more pissed if/when UCF gets invited as the 10th/18th member
