Fiesta Bowl

Is this one even worth watching? I mean, "Patton" is on the Fox Movie Channel, the History Channel's showing "Modern Marvels," "Mythbuster's" on Discovery, and "Valkyrie" is playing on Showtime. Mario Kart 64 and masturbating are also alternative options. All seem better than seeing UConn try to beat Oklahoma.

You never know if Oklahoma will show up for a Fiesta Bowl and UConn has a good RB. I'd suggest checking in on the game every so often  :thumb:

Go see 'Black Swan' instead. Seriously, Mila Kunis going down on Natalie Portman, 'nuff said.

So you're suggesting I masturbate?

But seriously, I think I'll take DJH's suggestion and play some Mario Kart. Will be back later to check on the score (I see it's already 7-0 though).

Sonnuvabitch, I spent six bucks and pulled a Pee Wee Herman in the theater when I could have just watched it for free! :x

I'm watching, but only because I'm a UConn fan.

It's 14-0 Oklahoma, 18 seconds left in the first quarter.

This game is a little closer than I thought it'd be at this point of the game. Interesting...but not that much.

I'm not impressed w/ Oklahoma.. It's a good thing UConn is a really bad team, because Oklahoma would be getting rolled by a good team right now.

Whenever SportsCenter mentions Bob Stoops's record in big games, they should not include this one

2 pick sixes for Oklahoma tonight. That's the only thing keeping the scoreboard so lopsided IMO

But UConn also got a pick six and a kick return for a TD, so each team got 2 non offensive TDs, so that was a wash.

Oklahoma's offense outscored UConn's offense 34-6. Was pretty lopsided.

it was still unimpressive by Oklahoma

UCONN hasn't scored an offensive TD in 2 games so that stat isn't as impressive.

I don't think you are giving Oklahoma enough credit. UConn doesn't suck, they have a good running game and a decent defense but Oklahoma clearly outclassed them last night. UConn was lucky to only be down by 10 in the 4th quarter, but at no time did it look like UConn might come back and win.

No one seriously though Oklahoma could lose that game, UConn was decent but not BCS material. I'll admit that I probably can't be impressed by Oklahoma because I really don't like that team but at the same time, take away a couple butterfinger plays by UConn receivers and it's not as impressive. If Boise State was playing, the score would have been closer/Sooner loss

Sure, and the Pittsburgh Steelers would have beaten them too.

The Sooners won by 28 points, that is pretty impressive for a BCS bowl game, even if the lossing team didn't belong.

I guess I somewhat agree, I just don't think the sooners were that good this year :geek:
