Did my eyes deceive me, or did Ohio State just run a play with no time left in the 3rd quarter?

I thought that rule applied at the end of halfs and games, not 1st and 3rd quarters...youngterrier wrote:timeless play because of penalty
I don't know, let's ask the ACC officials∞∞∞ wrote:I thought that rule applied at the end of halfs and games, not 1st and 3rd quarters...youngterrier wrote:timeless play because of penalty
I don't think it was that bad of a call. If the original tackler would have held on, they would have given the runner forward progress. But it appeared that the runner broke that tackle, and was free for a brief moment.Skjellyfetti wrote:That was a terrible call on that safety.
Reminded me of the "fumble" by Cadet on the punt return against Richmond last year.
They deserve it. karma for playing those 5 guys.∞∞∞ wrote:OSU kinda getting hosed on all these calls.
Actually, yeah... you are right.DJH wrote:

Good call by the refs.V. A6 has the ball in his possession and is not controlled by an opponent,
as he dives over the 50-yard line, which is the line to gain for a first
down, and is forced back across the 50-yard line. A6 continues to run
and is tackled at Team A’s 49-yard line, where any part of his body
except his hand or foot strikes the ground. RULING: No first down.
The point of forward progress is Team A’s 49-yard line.
Please. They got tattoos for giving out their autographs...don't think the whole team deserves "karma" for that.Skjellyfetti wrote:They deserve it. karma for playing those 5 guys.∞∞∞ wrote:OSU kinda getting hosed on all these calls.
Tell that to all the other kids that were suspended for similar things. It's a stupid rule... but, you can't enforce it differently with different teams.∞∞∞ wrote: Please. They got tattoos for giving out their autographs...don't think the whole team deserves "karma" for that.
Both teams did everything they could to lose that game, Pryor only managed one completion in the second half. Kinda fitting that one of the guys who should have been suspended for this game ended up with the game clinching interception.youngterrier wrote:Arkansas did all it could to lose that game
Yup. And the announcer said it was one of those players who had the game sealing INT.Skjellyfetti wrote:Tell that to all the other kids that were suspended for similar things. Haha yeah. Good thing the Sugar Bowl guy successfully lobbied for the NCAA to delay the suspensions. This game isn't even close with those 5 guys sitting tonight.Shellin wrote:Both teams did everything they could to lose that game, Pryor only managed one completion in the second half.
