starts on Wednesday with a new format this year. It is the Round Robin format, it was double elimination last season. The Top 8 teams in the conference are in the Round Robin.

(1) Troy (first regular season championship since 2006)
(4) Western Kentucky (the longest active appearance streak with 13 in a row!)
(5) Florida Atlantic (their 5th appearance and trying to win their 1st tournament championship)
(8) Arkansas-Little Rock (their 1st appearance since 2003)

Pool B
(2) Florida International (trying to become the 3rd team to win back-2-back tournament championships)
(3) Louisiana-Lafayette (this is their 18th appearance in the tournament)
(6) South Alabama (most appearances than any other with 33)
(7) Arkansas State (first back-2-back appearances since 2006)

The teams in each pool play each other and the team with the best record in their pool will advance to the Sun Belt Championship game on Sunday May 29th
