Texas should just go independent - their brand is big enough to allow it to be a success - and with The Longhorn Network about to launch... why not? (put the all-sports team wherever they get the best deal - i'm sure some conference somewhere would let them not be a part of the TV deal - just to boost their image)

Congrats to Texas. They've destroyed two conferences now. I wonder if they can work their magic in the Pac-12 also.
