OK is talking BYU and West Virginia (?!?) to replace Mizzou and TX A&M. But there's apparently no confirmation of the Monday rumor. But even then, they would still be in the Big XII for the remainder of the season and perhaps for some time to come. Just look at what happened with TCU....

Mizzou is going to the SEC. It's a done deal. I don't think it will work out well for Mizzou, but they sure as hell couldn't stay in the Big Texas, I mean Big XII Conference.

What may have happened here is the plan was to announce it Monday before it was delayed for whatever reasons (EPJr cited a legal issue) the conference had the online press release all set and probably uploaded it Saturday and then would link it to the main page of their site as soon as the announcement was made Monday, when the delayed occured it didnt occur to anyone to temporarily remove the uploaded content and someone randomly searching Missouri on the website found the content.

That's a sorry excuse... a simple embargo feature would have prevented this...
