Western Kentucky Sun Belt volleyball champs!

Post by wkuhillhound »

Western Kentucky (31 - 3) wins the Sun Belt Volleyball tournament championship with a 3 - 1 victory over Middle Tennessee to claim their 4th Sun Belt title in school history. This is WKU's 82nd combined (regular season/tournament) championship in the last 11 years!!! They have already won 4 this season. Cross country sweep (men's and women's) and volleyball (regular season and tournament) and placed 2nd in women's soccer tournament lost in PKs to Florida International. Way to go Lady Tops!!! :thumb:

BTW, they are bowl eligible with a 31 - 21 win @ North Texas  It only took 4 years for the Tops to be bowl eligible after the move to FBS and are in 2nd in the conference standings.
I have 176 reasons to be happy.
